Our featured model this week is a graduate of University of California-Berkeley that is now the hottest most sought after actor and show host in Singapore! Allan Wu is a Chinese-American actor, show host, and model. He's currently hosting The Amazing Race Asia.

Born June 11, 1972 Allan started modeling after receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree from UC-Berkeley. Shortly after that he moved to Asia where he became a MTV VJ - despite his limited Mandarin and Cantonese - and continued on to host such programs as Party Zone, MTV International Top 20 and Most Wanted.

Allan has an impressive portfolio that includes starring in seven films including I Do, I Do and Kung Fu Hip Hop (Jing mou moon). Additionally, he's hosted 13 television shows ranging from The Amazing Race Asia to Ripley's, Believe It Or Not.

It's obvious from seeing all that Allan is involved in that he's not one to wait around for opportunities. Though his fame in the United States is limited he's one of the most identifiable actors in Asia and a highly sought after commodity.

So, Jake broke up with his beard, Reese, and replaced her with a merkin which he dishes about with Jimmy Kimmel this past week. Jake was out promoting his new films this week with a stop on the Jimmy Kimmel Live show. His latest film - Brothers - where he costars with Tobey Maguire and Natalie Portman is playing in theaters. (I haven't seen it yet but I'm told it's great and Jake does an amazing job.)

While on the Jimmy Kimmel Show, Jake discussed the intimate sex scenes with Anne Hathaway that he has been shooting in Pittsburgh and his new-found love for the Pittsburgh Steelers. The audience got thoroughly excited when Jakey hoisted up his shirt to flash his new Steelers back tattoo - and who could blame them. I love tattoos - and I love Jake even more - but I'm glad this is fake.

Listen to him talk about crabs, pubic hair, and his merkin in the clip below. I'm going to give Jake a bit of distance before we go public with our relationship as I don't want everyone calling me his rebound. It's good to see him happy and silly again - and isn't he just so damn cute?

This 32 year old model - born October 10, 1977 in Sao Paulo, Brazil - was discovered by an agent while he was attending a course at an engineering college. Fernando is a highly sought after model and actor in Brazil.

He is represented by Ford Models Brasil. Standing at six feet this sexy Brasilian can be seen starring in one of the country's most popular soap operas, Días de mucho, vísperas de nada.

When he's not working he likes playing soccer and doing triathlons to keep his tight fit body. He's also a fan of pop music and Chinese food.

It's always good to break habits, right? Even when they are good habits sometimes you just need to shake things up. That's exactly what we've done with this week's morsel of yumminess! Feast your visuals on Kieran Lahey...

So you may be wondering - how is this a break from past models? Unlike most of the hotties featured Kieran is actually not represented by a modeling agency. He's a total free agent! Ok, yea that's not really a break from habits, I know.

Kieran is a 24 year old personal trainer from Sydney, Australia. He's trying to break into the business and models on the side when he can land a gig. He specializes in underwear, swimwear, urban fashion and sports modeling - so you can book him for your next show. For those of you wondering, his amazingly chiseled body would take up six feet and one inch of your bed when he lays down next to you. I'm sure that with a body and face this perfect he'll soon get his big break.

This past weekend the fine citizens of Houston elected Annise Parker to be their new Mayor. Ms. Parker was in a tough battle with another Democrat for the position - if he had won he would be only the second African-American to hold the position. But Houston decided to make a little bit of history and by a margin of 6 points it is now the largest US city with an openly gay Mayor.

Ms. Parker has been in elected office for many years. She was elected to city council and most recently she was City Controller. The campaign had it's fair share of homophobic attacks - including an anti-gay mail piece that was funded by two members of her opponents finance committee. Though for the record her opponent - Gene Locke - tried to distance himself from that piece.

Congratulations Houston! We are all so proud of you.

The always delightful Jake Gyllenhaal appeared on Sesame Street to teach children some new vocabulary. A friendly octopus was attached to his head and they taught us all the definition of separate. It's amazingly cute!

It's just a few days before Christmas and Santa tells me that some of you have been mostly good. So, I've got quite a treat for you. Just like yours truly - Aaron O’Connell grew up in the midwest. He was born in Dayton, Ohio but he and his three sisters were raised in Carmel, Indiana. He went to Purdue University where he received his B.A. in Health & Fitness. At Purdue he also begin modeling and acting.

His work includes GQ, VMan, German Vogue, French Vogue, L’uomo Vogue, Arena Homme, Hanes, Champion, and Jockey among others. He is currently represented by Ford Models (Chicago), Major Model Management (NYC), and Nous Model Management (LA).

I've got a feeling about this one. I'm confident he'll break into some big campaigns in 2010. You heard it here first.
