I took this picture from the balcony of Doug & Michael's loft in Milwaukee's Third Ward neighborhood. Milwaukee looked so beautiful lit up that night.

Paris goes home!!

Paris Hilton's attorney, Richard A. Hutton, issued the following statement today following Paris' release to house arrest.

"I want to thank the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and staff of the Century Regional Detention Center for treating me fairly and professionally. I am going to serve the remaining days of my sentence. I have learned a great deal from this ordeal and hope that others have learned from my mistakes."

The Los Angeles Sherriff's Department has taken tons of heat for what seems like preferential treatment. Paris only served 3 days of her sentence in jail.

Psychiatrist Charles Sophy who checked on in on Paris for the last few days says her condition was mental not physical and that "her mental state was fragile and she was at risk."

Paris will be rocking the Sentinel DualTrak ankle bracelet.

I'm glad that other officials are screaming foul on ths one. The list of celebrities that are in trouble for DUI's is extensive... Shemar Moore, Lindsay Lohan, Nicole Richie, George Michael, Mel Gibson, Eve... and the list goes on and on...

Who wants to take a guess at how many "stars of color" get out of jail and released to house arrest for "unspecified health issues"? My guess: 0.

Joe-Back Mountain (not verified):

Too bad she went back and the photo of her sobbing in the back of a squad car had me thinking, "hey put a b***h in jail!"
