Matthew Stephen Herrick was born on September 20, 1984 just outside of Philadelphia in Yardley, Pennsylvania. He is one of 8 siblings. Growing up he excelled at sports - as did his family - and consistently won numerous awards in cross country and track & field. Matthew discovered his love for acting in his role as Ebenezer Scrooge in the annual Christmas play for his elementary school. His passion for acting took off from there. His recent work includes spots in national print campaigns and commercials including Honda and Playstation.

Matthew currently resides in Los Feliz, California working towards developing a career specifically in TV/Film. When not working you can find Matthew riding his bike, long-boarding and spending time with his dog Billie.
